Has never fallen short once in the multiple jobs ive had for them. Had them tear up our parking pad most recently.Posted on Roger Brown2025-10-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Trademark did an excellent job with constructing my house. Travis was proficient at supplying excellent vendors and companies to complete the construction. The construction was completed on time and without any flaws. Almost six years from my date of occupancy, his work has withstood the test of time. Aside from power and window washing, the house has required no additional maintenance. Prior to construction, Travis was very helpful in suggesting design changes which increased space for a minimal increase in cost.Posted on Karen Kelch2025-10-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Update: we had Trademark back to install a new matching dishwasher, range, and range hood. The work included a new full electrical line for the range as we switched from a "dual fuel" to a full gas range and only needed a 120 outlet. The fit is excellent, all materials and trash removed, old appliances disposed of, all working. Thank you Marvin and Mike :-) After a great experience with a total bathroom renovation back in 2012, we again had Trademark perform a smaller job this time - remove a 38 year old SubZero built-in and rework the space for a counter-depth refrigerator. As the SubZero was much taller and left a large opening above the new refrigerator, their designer Nona spotted a fix immediately: remove the larger wood panel that matched the cabinets from the SubZero, size and then mount it to create the appearance of a matching cabinet above the new refrigerator. Their carpenters Marvin and Mike did great work with the wood panel and the rest of the "box", creating an attractive install rather than a "workaround". As we're planning a total kitchen renovation later in the year, this was a great solution to let us install a freezer that actually stays cold now until we're ready for the rest of the renovation :-)Posted on Charles James2025-09-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is our second time working with Trademark Construction, and we couldn't be happier. We were so impressed with the kitchen and bath renovation they did for us five years ago that we didn't hesitate to hire them again for a major kitchen remodel in our new Towson home. From start to finish, Vasilios and his team consistently deliver exceptional service. We love that their easy online scheduling and the small consultation fee are both incredibly valuable. We were also very impressed with their professionalism and project management abilities. They use online software that allows us to see the schedule and monitor our entire project from start to finish. Trademark Construction is not only MHIC licensed, but they also hold a master plumbing license, which allows them to handle all plumbing installations. This is a huge bonus! We highly recommend them for any kitchen, bathroom, basement, or full-home remodel.Posted on Tom Paradis2025-06-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Vasilios and the Trademark Construction Team was extremely helpful with helping me select and order the Onyx Collection solid surface shower kit. The material was priced fairly , well packed in protective shipping material, and delivered exactly according to plan. The Team also has offered to provide any assistance that I may need when I install it. I recommend Trademark Construction and Onyx Collection material for any remodeling projects.
Waterproof bathroom flooring prevents rot and mold from developing beneath the surface, a critical concern in Baltimore’s humid climate and bathroom remodeling projects. During Maryland’s humid summers, water seeps under tiles and soaks into non-waterproof materials, causing long-term damage. We install moisture-resistant flooring with sealed edges around tubs, toilets, and showers to block water at the source.
Older Baltimore homes in Canton, Fells Point, and Federal Hill typically have wood subfloors that deteriorate when exposed to moisture. Waterproof materials like luxury vinyl plank, porcelain tile, and sheet vinyl create protective barriers that prevent water from reaching the structural wood beams below. This protection is essential in homes built before modern waterproofing standards.
We install vapor barriers beneath flooring to manage humidity rising through concrete slabs, especially important in Baltimore basement bathrooms. These barriers eliminate the musty odors and floor warping common in Maryland’s damp climate, keeping your bathroom dry and structurally sound.
Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and rigid core vinyl install quickly over existing tile or linoleum without requiring full demolition. This makes them ideal for Baltimore rowhomes, where small bathrooms, typically 5×8 or 6×7 feet, benefit from flexible materials that cut easily and fit tight corners. You avoid the cost and disruption of tearing out old flooring.
Vinyl planks navigate the narrow hallways common in Mount Vernon and Hampden homes more easily than large porcelain tiles. These flexible materials conform around sinks, toilet bases, vanity installation areas, and irregular corners without the dust and debris of demolition. This installation method works particularly well in occupied homes where minimizing mess is essential.
LVP performs well over the slightly uneven subfloors common in older Baltimore properties. The planks lock together without glue or grout, allowing us to complete most bathroom flooring installations in one to two days. Your bathroom is ready to use within hours after installation, not days.
Slip-resistant bathroom flooring protects your family from falls when wet surfaces become hazardous. Textured porcelain tile and slip-rated vinyl provide secure footing even when water is present, essential for seniors in Catonsville, Towson, and Pikesville who want to age in place safely. We install materials with grip-enhancing textures that prevent slipping near showers, tubs, and vanities.
Many Maryland homeowners choose slip-resistant flooring as part of aging-in-place bathroom renovations. We combine textured flooring with grab bars and curbless showers to create safer bathrooms that allow residents to remain in their homes longer. These upgrades provide peace of mind for both homeowners and their families.
We recommend flooring with DCOF (Dynamic Coefficient of Friction) ratings of 0.42 or higher for wet areas. Porcelain tile with textured finishes and luxury vinyl with raised surface patterns both meet ADA safety standards while maintaining a clean, attractive appearance that complements your bathroom design.
Proper floor leveling and cement board under the tile stop cracked grout and loose tiles. Baltimore’s older homes in Bolton Hill and Guilford often have uneven floor beams from settling over many years. We fix structural problems before tile installation to create a stable base.
Contractors install cement boards over wood floors to block moisture and add strength. The board stops flexing that makes tiles crack or pop loose. We screw the cement board every six inches. We tape all edges with waterproof mesh.
Tile showers need waterproof barriers behind the tile installation. Baltimore homes built before 2000 may have old plumbing that leaks slowly. We check water lines and drains during floor prep. Then we put in barriers that push water toward the drain instead of into walls.
Full bathroom tile jobs take three to five days. This includes floor prep, tile setting time, and grout drying. You can’t use the bathroom during installation. We work fast to cause less disruption.
Sheet vinyl and waterproof laminate offer quick bathroom flooring installation, typically one to two days with minimal subfloor preparation. Homeowners in Remington and Greenmount West choose these materials for fast updates that work within tight budgets, whether for primary residences or rental properties. These flexible materials conform to uneven surfaces without cracking, making them ideal for Baltimore’s older housing stock.
Baltimore rowhomes built 100-plus years ago often have settled subfloors with dips and slopes. Flexible sheet vinyl conforms to these irregularities better than rigid tile, and can be installed in single sheets that eliminate seams where water could penetrate. This seamless installation provides superior moisture protection in older homes.
Waterproof laminate planks install as a floating floor system without adhesive, eliminating the mess and drying time required for tile mortar and grout. Most bathroom flooring installations are complete in one day, allowing immediate use, a significant advantage when bathroom access can’t be interrupted for extended periods.
Timeless bathroom flooring patterns maintain strong resale value while complementing Baltimore’s diverse architectural styles. Homeowners in Roland Park and Homeland choose materials that honor their homes’ historic character or support contemporary renovations, from Victorian and Colonial properties to mid-century modern designs. Classic patterns like subway tile layouts, hexagon mosaics, and neutral color palettes work across multiple design eras.
White subway tile remains the most requested bathroom flooring and wall treatment in Baltimore. We install it in traditional running bonds or more dynamic herringbone patterns, depending on whether your design leans traditional or contemporary. The rectangular format creates clean, versatile lines that complement both classic and modern fixtures.
Wood-look luxury vinyl plank delivers the warmth of natural wood without moisture vulnerability in wet bathroom environments. Available in realistic oak, maple, and hickory finishes ranging from light gray to warm brown, these planks suit modern farmhouse and transitional styles popular in updated Baltimore homes. You get authentic wood aesthetics with waterproof performance.
Hexagon tile patterns add character to vintage-inspired Baltimore bathrooms. Small-format white or black hexagons create classic early-1900s appeal, while larger gray hexagons offer a modern interpretation. These geometric patterns provide visual interest in compact powder rooms without overwhelming small spaces.

Flooring alone usually doesn’t need permits in Baltimore City. Plumbing changes or structural fixes may need permit requirements. We handle permit applications when your bathroom remodeling project involves moving toilets, adding showers, or strengthening floors that affect the building structure.
Vinyl handles moisture from concrete better than tile. Baltimore basements have humidity that rises through concrete slabs. If you want tile, we install a waterproof barrier and check that your sump pump drains right. Vinyl gives a simpler installation with built-in moisture protection.
