This bold cabinetry extends to the expanded kitchen island, which serves as the centerpiece of the space. The spindle legs magnificently accent the bar side of the island. Refined seating is created to accommodate casual dining and buffet style dinners for entertaining with family and friends. Topped with a luminous white quartz lumaluxe countertop, the island stands as a statement piece of craftsmanship and style.

Optimizing kitchen efficiency

The large wood range hood was modified and refinished in black. This opened up space between the hood and stove for a more inviting layout. Along the oven wall, a previously existing desk was removed to allow the elegant cabinetry and countertop to extend seamlessly. Truly, a huge increase in storage capacity! Floating cherry chestnut shelves above complement the slightly recessed wall arch, reinforcing the feel of French Country style.

To enhance both ambiance and practicality in this kitchen remodel Ellicott City, recessed lighting was strategically added, casting a warm and inviting glow throughout the space. The scullery was meticulously refurbished to mirror the kitchen’s refined look. It features a new sink and a matte black/luxe gold faucet—perfectly coordinating with the island’s fixtures.
