The goal for this project

This bathroom renovation Baltimore City was a complete redo. The bathroom had a small, outdated, shower in need of plumbing repairs. As seen in the before images, the shower appears completely disconnected from the rest of the bathroom. The new design remedies that and so much more.

The bulky, oversized tub, with outdated and leaking fixtures, claimed way more space than was necessary. The vanity was old and discolored with mostly broken doors and drawers. Lighting was poor and the fixtures outdated. The tile floor had seen better days, but those days were a long, long time ago. How excited was this homeowner to finally be putting her long awaited project into motion? VERY!

The bathroom design and selections

We created a design for this bathroom renovation Baltimore City that would provide the cohesion and harmony the room had been missing. The new shower and bathroom floor features the timeless appeal of Travertine. This natural stone tile is as durable as it is beautiful. Polished 12″ x 24″ Travertine tile is expertly installed throughout the this beautiful, frameless glass door shower, covers the dividing wall, and surrounds the new 60″ x 36″ soaking tub. Matte 12″ x 24″ tiles of the same pattern cover the floor to add an elongated, expanded, feel to the room, and yes, there’s that bit of harmony we were after. The shower has push button fixtures and a rainshower shower head. The new soaking tub features a waterfall tub filler faucet. The floor space regained from removing the oversized tub now allows space for a wood dressing table, special seating, or tall silk tree to complete the room.

The solid wood construction double vanity has a medium tone stained finish. Raised panel door and drawer fronts create a classic look. A double door wall cabinet, made of the same solid wood construction as the cabinetry adds charm and functionality. The chantilly taupe quartz countertop, undermount sinks, with open channel faucets, matching wood framed mirrors, and new lighting, button up that portion of the room nicely. Now, add a warm, relaxing, choice of wall color, and there you have it – a master bath masterpiece.
