This project is a full kitchen and family room renovation in Highlandtown, Baltimore completed by TradeMark Construction. For homeowners considering custom kitchen design in Baltimore, this renovation shows what happens when an experienced team takes the time to understand your vision and builds it exactly right.
Randy and his family knew exactly what they wanted – a kitchen and family room that worked together as one connected space. The existing rooms were outdated, and no contractor had ever taken the time to really understand their goals. That changed when they hired TradeMark Construction.
Owner Vasilios visited the home three times before any work began. He spent over two hours with the family in the TradeMark showroom on two separate occasions, walking them through every combination of quartz, cabinetry, backsplash, and flooring until the selections were exactly right. He then used 3D modeling to show the family what the finished space would look like before a single wall was touched.
This kitchen remodeling project in Baltimore took five weeks from start to finish. Vasilios communicated regularly throughout, came on-site to support his team, and walked through a personal punch list at completion to make sure every detail was flawless.

The kitchen and island both feature quartz countertops with subtle marble veining. The surface is durable enough for daily family use while giving the space an elevated, clean look. Randy’s family selected the quartz at the TradeMark showroom after seeing it paired with their cabinetry and backsplash choices in person.

A grey and white mosaic tile backsplash runs the full length of the kitchen walls, tying the white cabinetry to the grey flooring. The pattern adds texture and visual depth without competing with the countertops. It was one of the selections Vasilios helped the family finalize during their showroom visits.

“We hired TradeMark Construction to renovate our kitchen and family room. No contractor has ever spent one-quarter of the time that Vasilios (the owner) spent with us or done any better work than them!
If you read nothing else, know that there is NO ONE better than TradeMark and Vasilios!! They are incredible and we can’t be any happier!!
Vasilios came to our house three times to ensure that what we envisioned would become our reality and it did! He spent well-over two hours on two separate occasions with us in his showroom which had every possible combination of quartz, cabinetry, backsplash and flooring.
He then helped us re-design our family room. He had samples of everything and showed us what everything would look like together. He also used 3D modeling to show us how it would look. The renditions were perfect.
Marvin and Mike from TradeMark Construction whom did the work were equally as amazing! The quality of their work and attention was to detail was perfect. They too were great to work with. They were friendly and punctual. Vasilios communicated regularly with us during the entire five weeks. He also came onsite regularly to ensure everything was just right and to support his team and us. He walked through personally with a punch list upon completion to ensure it was flawless (and it was)!
Everyone Vasilios brought in from the plumber to electricians were incredible. I cannot more highly recommend TradeMark Construction and Vasilios! Everything was perfect and we love our new space. Thank you Vasilios and TradeMark! Can’t wait to have you for our next project!”

The scope of this project touched several of our core kitchen services. Custom kitchen design drove the entire renovation. Vasilios worked directly with the family through multiple showroom sessions and 3D renderings to finalize every material selection before construction began.
Countertop installation was central to the finished look. Quartz surfaces with marble veining were fabricated and fitted across the full perimeter and kitchen island, selected specifically to complement the mosaic backsplash and white cabinetry.
Backsplash installation completed the kitchen’s visual identity. The grey and white mosaic tile runs wall to wall, creating a cohesive transition between the countertops and upper cabinetry while adding texture and depth to the space.
