Has never fallen short once in the multiple jobs ive had for them. Had them tear up our parking pad most recently.Posted on Roger Brown2025-10-12Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Trademark did an excellent job with constructing my house. Travis was proficient at supplying excellent vendors and companies to complete the construction. The construction was completed on time and without any flaws. Almost six years from my date of occupancy, his work has withstood the test of time. Aside from power and window washing, the house has required no additional maintenance. Prior to construction, Travis was very helpful in suggesting design changes which increased space for a minimal increase in cost.Posted on Karen Kelch2025-10-09Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Update: we had Trademark back to install a new matching dishwasher, range, and range hood. The work included a new full electrical line for the range as we switched from a "dual fuel" to a full gas range and only needed a 120 outlet. The fit is excellent, all materials and trash removed, old appliances disposed of, all working. Thank you Marvin and Mike :-) After a great experience with a total bathroom renovation back in 2012, we again had Trademark perform a smaller job this time - remove a 38 year old SubZero built-in and rework the space for a counter-depth refrigerator. As the SubZero was much taller and left a large opening above the new refrigerator, their designer Nona spotted a fix immediately: remove the larger wood panel that matched the cabinets from the SubZero, size and then mount it to create the appearance of a matching cabinet above the new refrigerator. Their carpenters Marvin and Mike did great work with the wood panel and the rest of the "box", creating an attractive install rather than a "workaround". As we're planning a total kitchen renovation later in the year, this was a great solution to let us install a freezer that actually stays cold now until we're ready for the rest of the renovation :-)Posted on Charles James2025-09-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is our second time working with Trademark Construction, and we couldn't be happier. We were so impressed with the kitchen and bath renovation they did for us five years ago that we didn't hesitate to hire them again for a major kitchen remodel in our new Towson home. From start to finish, Vasilios and his team consistently deliver exceptional service. We love that their easy online scheduling and the small consultation fee are both incredibly valuable. We were also very impressed with their professionalism and project management abilities. They use online software that allows us to see the schedule and monitor our entire project from start to finish. Trademark Construction is not only MHIC licensed, but they also hold a master plumbing license, which allows them to handle all plumbing installations. This is a huge bonus! We highly recommend them for any kitchen, bathroom, basement, or full-home remodel.Posted on Tom Paradis2025-06-06Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Vasilios and the Trademark Construction Team was extremely helpful with helping me select and order the Onyx Collection solid surface shower kit. The material was priced fairly , well packed in protective shipping material, and delivered exactly according to plan. The Team also has offered to provide any assistance that I may need when I install it. I recommend Trademark Construction and Onyx Collection material for any remodeling projects.
Baltimore rowhouses in Canton, Fells Point, and Federal Hill present unique kitchen design challenges. Most were built over 100 years ago with galley-style kitchens averaging just 8 to 12 feet wide, not planned for dishwashers, microwaves, or modern storage needs.
Custom kitchen design solves these problems without expanding your footprint or removing walls. We work around load-bearing walls using vertical storage solutions that maximize every inch. Floor-to-ceiling cabinets use height instead of width. Pull-out shelves and lazy susans make deep corner cabinets fully accessible.
We design around doorways, windows, radiators, and odd angles, all common in historic Baltimore homes. You keep the character of your rowhouse while gaining a kitchen that functions like a modern space.
A beautiful kitchen that doesn’t match how you cook wastes money and creates daily frustration. Professional kitchen design starts with workflow planning, not cabinet catalogs. We map your prep zone, cooking zone, and cleanup zone first. Then we select cabinets, appliances, and counter layouts that support how you actually use the space.
The kitchen work triangle connects your sink, stove, and refrigerator with each leg measuring 4 to 9 feet. This keeps everything within easy reach without creating congestion. When zones are spaced too far apart, you waste time walking back and forth. When they’re too close, two cooks constantly bump into each other.
Open-concept kitchens are increasingly common in Baltimore rowhomes. We use islands or peninsula counters to define boundaries without blocking sightlines. The result is a kitchen that works for your daily routine, not just for photos. Learn more about our approach to kitchen remodeling in Baltimore.
Kitchen cabinets account for 40 to 50 percent of most remodeling budgets in Baltimore. Better cabinets feature hardwood box construction and soft-close hardware that lasts 20 years or more. Cheaper particle board options may save money initially but often need replacement within 5 to 10 years.
Stock cabinets offer the lowest price point in standard sizes. Semi-custom cabinets provide more size options and upgraded materials. Full custom cabinets are built exactly to your measurements, ideal for Baltimore rowhouses with unusual dimensions.
Baltimore’s hot, humid summers require sealed cabinet interiors that resist moisture damage. This prevents wood from swelling and doors from sticking, especially important in older Baltimore homes where ventilation may be limited.
Cabinet style should match your home’s character. Shaker-style doors work in both modern and traditional kitchens. Raised panel doors suit classic designs. Glass-front cabinets add visual interest. During your design consultation, we’ll show you samples and discuss which options work best for your Baltimore kitchen remodel.
An in-home design consultation shows you exactly what will work in your space before you order a single cabinet. We measure your space, identify wall limits, vent needs, and appliance clearances before you order materials.
Every kitchen has hidden challenges, sloped ceilings, awkward beams, off-center windows. We spot these issues early, saving you from ordering cabinets that don’t fit or appliances that block doorways.
Professional designers follow kitchen dimensions and code requirements to plan layouts that meet safety rules and work well for daily use. Code requires certain clearances around stoves, minimum aisle widths, and proper ventilation. We design to meet these requirements from the start.
Older Baltimore homes may need electrical or plumbing upgrades. Your 1920s rowhouse might have old knob-and-tube wiring or galvanized pipes that need replacing. Modern kitchens need circuits for the dishwasher, disposal, microwave, and outlets. We plan for this work before demolition starts.
During the consultation, we discuss how you cook. Do you bake often? You need counter space for rolling dough. Do you entertain? You might want a second sink or beverage fridge. Your answers shape the whole design.
Do multiple people use your kitchen at once in Hampden or Waverly? A triangle or zone layout keeps main tasks close together, cutting down on traffic jams.
The classic work triangle puts sink, stove, and fridge at three points. Modern kitchens use zones instead, each handling one job. The prep zone has counter space and the sink. The cooking zone has the stove and spices. The cleanup zone has the dishwasher and trash.
Zones work better when multiple people cook together without crossing paths. Islands help create separate zones in open kitchens.
Compact Baltimore kitchens work well with corner lazy susans and pull-out pantries that use every inch of space. Deep drawers hold pots and pans better than lower cabinets.
A well-planned layout cuts wasted steps and makes kitchen work feel easier.
Hiring separate designers and contractors creates gaps in communication and measurement accuracy. Design mistakes discovered during construction can add $5,000 to $15,000 to your Baltimore kitchen remodel.Design mistakes show up during construction, the cabinet depth blocks a light switch, the fridge door hits the island, there’s no room to open the dishwasher. Fixing these problems means ordering new cabinets or moving plumbing, adding weeks and thousands of dollars.
When one Baltimore team handles both design and construction, we catch problems during planning, not during demolition. We know how cabinets are built and how much space appliances need. There are no surprises when demolition starts.Material lead times also matter. Custom cabinets take 6 to 12 weeks to build. Countertops need templating after cabinets are installed. We order everything in the right sequence so your project keeps moving forward.
Baltimore city permits and historic district rules need experience. Some neighborhoods require a design review. Some projects need structural engineers. We know which permits to file and when, scheduling inspections at the right times. As your Baltimore design-build contractor, we handle every phase from initial measurements to final installation. You work with one team, get consistent updates, and know exactly who to call with questions.
