The goal for this project

Product selections and features

The bathroom shower addition features an Onyx System base with a textured, pebbled surface and an add-on ramp. The walls are finished with 3″ x 6″ beveled subway tiles in an almond gloss. A satin nickel body spray system, including a handheld sprayer, is installed, along with a central niche, grab bars, and a ceiling light. A frameless sliding glass door with an anodized brushed nickel finish and a 4″ x 36″ Carrera flat threshold complete the basement bathroom shower nicely. Most importantly, included is our homeowners’ #1 must-have feature. The curbless shower design provides a modern and sleek look, indeed.

The vanity, in Ridgefield Pastel, adds a touch of subtle charm and elegance, creating a calming atmosphere. It’s topped with a Calacatta Gold quartz countertop, featuring a clean-lined single control faucet and an undermount sink, which maximizes the beautiful countertop space. A high brushed nickel Trilogy wall sconce perfectly complements the Kohler framed medicine cabinet.

A significant feature of this basement bathroom addition is the gorgeous 12″ x 24″ matte Bedrock Beige porcelain tile flooring, which beautifully ties the entire space together. A one-piece toilet is installed for easier cleaning and offers efficient, high-pressure flushing while promising water savings. Naturally, a crucial exhaust fan is included, and beneath it all, (remember our clients’ #2 must-have), is an electric radiant heat flooring system, providing ultimate comfort with the simple flip of a switch. Who could ask for more?

Finishing the actual basement area

For the rest of the basement, our team handled the framing and preparation of the walls, installed and finished the ceiling, and completed all necessary trade work. The homeowners chose to install the floor covering in the main basement area themselves once the finishing work was complete.
